The surroundings: la sierra de Gredos

El Yantar de Gredos is situated within the boundaries of the regional park of Sierra de Gredos, only six kilometres from the Parador hotel.

San Martín del Pimpollar is a farmer's town, surrounded by nature with spectacular rivers and streams only a few minutes by foot from the village. In spring and summer the natural pools in the rivers and the green prairies stand out, while in winter the town is covered in the same snow as the nearby summits of Gredos.
